Gillian is excited to join the team at Mend as a Rehabilitation Assistant! Raised in the Okanagan, she has always been passionate about staying active, with a background in a variety of sports that eventually led her to pursue a degree in Kinesiology. Now in her fourth year at Camosun College, she is eager to bring her knowledge and energy into supporting others in their health and wellness journeys.

Gillian believes that movement should feel enjoyable and accessible for everyone. She values meeting clients where they are at, celebrating progress big and small, and encouraging a positive approach to rehabilitation and daily activity.

Gabby completed her Master’s degree in Physiotherapy at University College Dublin, Ireland. She previously graduated from Camosun College’s Bachelor of Athletic and Exercise Therapy program in 2019 and is certified as both an Athletic Therapist and Kinesiologist.

Her clinical practice is deeply rooted in evidence-based care and shared decision-making, ensuring personalized and effective treatment plans. She has a special interest in women’s health and is pursuing a certification in pelvic health physiotherapy. Additionally, she is a certified Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist, supporting clients through the unique physical demands of these stages.

Gabby also places strong emphasis on the role of exercise and active recovery in rehabilitation, injury prevention, and long-term wellness. She integrates movement and therapeutic exercise into every stage of care, whether it’s restoring joint mobility, improving neuromuscular control, or building resilience for return to sport or daily activity. She believes in empowering clients through education and movement, promoting body awareness and long-term self-management strategies.

Teagan believes that movement should be something everyone can enjoy and has seen firsthand how exercise can positively shape every part of a person’s life. He is passionate about helping individuals regain strength, function, and confidence through personalized movement-based rehabilitation.

With experience in inclusive physical activity and coaching, Teagan brings a well-rounded and client-centred approach to rehabilitation. His background includes working with youth on the autism spectrum through the Canucks Autism Network, coaching Olympic lifting athletes of all ages, and coaching youth rugby. His passion for movement was rooted in an upbringing in hockey, rugby, and Olympic lifting.

Teagan grew up in Nanaimo, BC and graduated with a Bachelor of Kinesiology from Vancouver Island University. Outside of his clinical work, he is an avid angler and outdoorsman who thrives in the gym and on Vancouver Island’s rugged coastline. He is passionate about sharing his love for human kinetics with the community and is committed to helping each client move forward with strength, purpose, and lasting impact.

Eric is a compassionate and motivating Kinesiologist who believes that everyone deserves access to the care they need to move, feel, and live well. He takes an evidence-based, client-centred approach to exercise therapy, helping people build confidence, improve function, and return to the activities that matter most to them.

Specializing in active injury prevention and rehabilitation, sport-specific training, and return-to-work planning, Eric has supported a diverse range of clients, including seniors, individuals recovering from motor vehicle accidents, WorkSafeBC participants, first responders, and members of the Canadian Armed Forces.

With a Bachelor of Sport and Fitness Leadership from Camosun College, Eric has experience in high-performance, military training, and clinical rehabilitation environments. He is also pursuing a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University, deepening his understanding of the links between physical and mental health.

Jamie Zawacki is excited to join the Mend Mobile Health team for both clinical and at home kinesiology appointments. He has a Bachelors of Kinesiology from Victoria’s own Camosun College and is currently preparing to write his Canadian Physiotherapy Licensing Exam after completing his Masters in Physiotherapy at the University of Plymouth in the United Kingdom.

Jamie brings to the team his experience in working with a variety of backgrounds including, ICBC clinical kinesiology care, injury prevention and recovery, care for the elderly, sport specific training, and working with patients with long term conditions. Jamie truly believes exercise is medicine and prides himself in his ability to assist his clients in finding what form of activity works best for them.
