Companionship + Assistance at Home

We offer respite and companionship services for people living in their homes or in care facilities. These tasks may include companionship, outing / appointment accompaniment, light house duties (tidying + meal prep), or family member relief.

Braeden is a Kinesiology graduate from the University of Victoria with a passion for promoting wellness through a holistic approach. He believes in nurturing a balanced life and supporting individuals in discovering what that balance looks like for them. Having grown up actively participating in a variety of sports and traveling, Braeden developed a strong foundation in physical activity. While basketball was his primary focus, he also played hockey and baseball, which deepened his understanding of athletic development and the importance of cross-training. Specializing in care and programming for older adults, Braeden is dedicated to enhancing mobility, strength, and overall quality of life. He also enjoys working with youth, helping them build healthy habits and cultivate a lifelong appreciation for physical activity.

Kim joins the Mend team with a degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Active Health and Rehabilitation. She has worked as a Performance Strength and Conditioning coach with a wide range of clients; from high-level athletes to seniors, she’s learned to adapt exercise to suit all levels of fitness and ability. She also has experience addressing ergonomic and mobility concerns from an injury-prevention standpoint. With these skills under her belt, her goal is to approach recovery and fitness from a global perspective; ultimately, fitness goals need to align with each individual and encourage a balanced lifestyle.

Kim loves to grow and share her clinical knowledge while also taking the time to understand her clients’ perspectives. She specializes in musculoskeletal injury prevention and rehabilitation through the lens of functional movement. She also has a passion for athletic performance and pre/post natal care. Regardless of one’s background, she loves to support patients as they strive for their movement milestones. Outside of work, she can be found playing sports, being crafty, or cooking up a storm!

Bronte graduated with a degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Active Health and Rehabilitation from Simon Fraser University. She is an avid problem solver, adventure seeker and animal lover. She has worked with a wide variety of individuals from athletes to children.

Bronte is well versed in wheelchair and other mobility aid skills through her previous work experience. She is passionate about providing a gentle and holistic approach to rehabilitation. Bronte’s goal is to create a safe space where movement can be explored. In her free time she can be found exploring the outdoors, at a spin class or crafting!

She is registered with the College of Physical Therapists of BC and holds a Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy. Audriana brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her work. Her specialized training in chronic pain management including pain reprocessing therapy as well as her trauma-informed yoga teacher training enables her to develop customized treatment plans that help patients achieve their health goals. She was born and raised in rural Northern Vancouver Island and made the move to Victoria BC in 2013. Anna then graduated from the Pacific Institute for Sports Excellence with a Degree in Sports and Fitness Leadership - Exercise and Wellness Specialization - Dual Internship Accreditation. Shortly after she registered with the BC Association of Kinesiologists and Canadian Kinesiology Alliance.
